2026 Tata Punch Facelift Exterior Explained In 10 Real-life Images: Price, Variants, Exterior, Features And Powertrain

Tata Motors has just taken the wraps off the Punch facelift, and among extensive changes to the interior and feature-list, it also gets a heavily reworked exterior design to add a dash of excitement to the package. Here is all you need to know about all the changes, explained in 10 real-life images:

Front

The front-end design of the new Punch has undergone a major overhaul without losing the chunky and tough-looking proportions it has always been known for. 

You now get to see a slimmer grille, along with sleek new DRL signatures flanking it on either side.

Move on to the bottom, and you get to see a completely new bumper which houses the vertically-stacked LED headlamp cluster, a larger lower air dam, along with thick cladding and a faux silver skid plate as well. It also gets vertical air flaps on the outer edges for better aerodynamics.

Side

Towards the side, Tata has kept the design very similar to the outgoing car, and the facelift too gets thick cladding, roof rails and the rear door handles mounted behind the windows to mimic a sporty ‘two-door’ look.

We do, however, get to see a new design for the 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, along with larger ORVMs, which now come finished in black. 

These also house the side camera from the new 360-degree camera system. 

Rear

When it comes to the rear-end styling in the Punch facelift, it too gets heavily reworked to offer a fresh feel. The first thing one notices is the new connected LED taillamp cluster with black casing. You also get to see a larger rear spoiler, which now comes finished in black.

Below, there is a redesigned bumper as well, which retains thick cladding, albeit with a new reflector design and a faux silver skid plate at the bottom. 

About The 2026 Tata Punch Facelift

A massive success for Tata, the Punch was launched back in 2021 as the carmaker’s entry-level SUV. This facelift aims to improve upon the already successful formula with a more powerful engine, new features and a heavily reworked interior as well, alongside just the exterior updates. 

In terms of features, it now gets equipped with features such as LED headlamps, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice-enabled electric sunroof, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, wireless charger and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.

Safety-wise, it now gets 6 airbags as standard, along with features such as electronic stability control, hill hold assist, 360 degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Under the hood, it gets powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which also comes with a bi-fuel CNG version. With the facelift, Tata has also plonked a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Nexon, solving one of the Punch’s biggest weaknesses. Here are the detailed specifications:
