URC, Network Thermostat Integrate for Smart Building Climate Controls

Residential and commercial control company URC and Network Thermostat (NetX), a leading provider of connected commercial IoT thermostat solutions for facility energy management and automation, announce a new integration in climate control and automation.
Launching immediately, URC and Network Thermostat have created an integration between Total Control, URC’s residential and commercial automation platform, and the NetX commercial thermostat solutions.
This module allows for two-way control of any NetX HVAC thermostat via all current URC touchscreens, handheld remotes, phones and tablets. Using URC touchscreen interfaces, commercial managers and staff can easily control panels, check the status of any zone in the current partition, read through the logs, and much more.
Network Thermostat (NetX) protocols enable efficient, real-time management of HVAC systems through cloud-based and on-premises interfaces, helping users achieve substantial energy savings and operational efficiency.
Network Thermostat X-Series Is A-OK for URC Total Control
The X-Series thermostat brings wide flexibility to environmental management, via Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, system integrations over BACnet/IP, and Modbus TCP/IP protocols and compatibility with equipment including RTUs, FCUs, VAV, VRF, and mini-splits.
URC’s Unified Modules is a subset for powerful two-way integrations within URC’s Total Control smart home and commercial automation platform that allows for seamless integration across brands. It bundles smart environment sectors like lighting, climate, shades, and more. Unified Modules allows installers to integrate existing or new subsystems into Total Control for unified control and automation.
This enables the end user to easily manage through a single user interface, enabling unified automation across various devices and systems within a home or business space; essentially, it provides a centralized control point for different smart home functionalities through a single platform.
Also, this new integration provides several events that can be used for more advanced automation, like activating scenes – including via voice commands – like Good Morning and Goodnight that create inspirational, comfortable environments throughout commercial spaces.
