Shop 6 Home Design Trends With These 31 Amazon Products
A home refresh is a great way to kick off the new year, especially if your decor is starting to feel stale. For inspiration, I asked six interior designers what decor trends we can expect for 2026. Most agreed that people are gravitating toward styles that evoke calm, comfort, and personal points of view. This translates into unique mixes of patterns and colors, layered textures, and grandmillennial vibes. “The goal isn’t perfection—it’s creating spaces that genuinely make everyday life feel better,” says designer Abby Powell, founder of House of AP.
Thankfully, you don’t need to splurge on big-ticket items to incorporate these trends into your home. We found lamps, stools, throw blankets, and other decor you can buy right on Amazon, most for under $60.

Trend 1: Grandmillennial Vibes
Lina Galvão of Curated Nest Interiors predicts a resurgence of grandmillennial and British-inspired trends, and she suggests “ginger jars, chinoiserie, and embroidery” as well as patterns like “checkerboard in diverse colors” to achieve the looks at home.
And if you’re not familiar with “grandmillennial,” this trend leans away from minimalism and embraces nostalgic and traditional decor. This means heritage and antique styles, cozy cottage inspiration, and even ’90s throwbacks. We found some grandmillennial decor picks below.

Trend 2: Calm Spaces
“There’s a lot more awareness around stress, burnout, and overstimulation, and that’s showing up in the kinds of spaces people are asking for,” says Powell. “It’s less about making a statement and more about creating a home that feels calm, supportive, and easy to live in.” This means items that “feel good to be around,” like neutral colors and natural materials.

Trend 3: Pattern and Color Mixing
“Houses are becoming homes again, and there’s a big emphasis on a look that feels collected over time versus staged and all brand new,” says Alex Thies, owner and creative director at Adelyn Charles Interiors. “This lends itself to layered patterns, colors, and textures—as remnants of various collections and aesthetics rather than something that all came about at once.” Thies recommends playing with patterns and colors to create intrigue, and integrating items with personal, unique histories.

Trend 4: Spa Ambience
Designers agree it’s the year of self-care, and what better way to integrate self-care into your home’s design than by turning your bedroom into a retreat. “Softer shades and tactile fabrics will bring a sense of peace and retreat from the rest of the world,” says Lori Miller, founder of LGC Interior Design. “It’s no longer just about aesthetics in the bedroom—it’s about comfort, calm, and creating a retreat-like feel.” Think luxuriously plush pillows, fluffy blankets, neutral decor—and anything that evokes a spa experience.

Trend 5: Layered Textures
Out with minimalism, in with maximalism—but with the specific goal of creating a personalized, lived-in space. One way to do this is by combining textures. “Layering textures evokes comfort and individuality,” says Jenny Jorgensen, Director of Design at Ispiri. “Gone are the days of a minimal lifestyle—this year we need warmth both physically and mentally, and natural textures lined up on top of each other will do just that.”

Trend 6: Block Print Patterns
“I am predicting we’ll see a lot of textiles and decor where the artisan’s hand is evident,” says MaryBeth Sullivan of MB Sullivan Design. “Think block print fabrics made into lampshades, pillows, and tablecloths.” Sullivan calls block print patterns a “nice bridge of classic yet bold, and they pair well with staples many already have in their homes, like stripes and gingham.”
